The Director of Medical Education (DME Gujarat) has asked candidates willing to participate in the 4th stray vacancy round for PG Ayurveda (MD/MS Ayurved) & PG Homeopathy (MD Homoeopathy) to submit online consent for participation.

As per the notice, the 4th stray vacancy round for MD/MS (Ayurved) & MD (Homoeopathy) will start in a short time. It will be an offline round. Online consent can be given till 18.3.2023 up to noon. To participate, the candidates must log in to the website http://www.medadmgujarat.org/pgayus/home.aspx using their User-ID and Password to give online consent.

The candidate, who has not given online consent during the stipulated time, will not be allowed to participate. After giving consent, candidates must take the printout of “Consent” available in “Registration Details”, which shows the date and time of consent.

In this round, admission will be given on non-reported seats of the 3rd online mop-up round, cancelled seats after the 3rd online mop-up round and subsequent vacant seats. The candidate can participate in this round without cancelling his admission to the previous rounds.

Candidate has to remain present as per the merit rank on the allotted date and time at “Lecture Hall No.-1, Ground Floor, GMERS Medical College, Gandhinagar”. They are instructed to bring a copy of online consent during offline counselling. And those who will remain absent on the day and time of counselling allotted to them will have no right to admission.

All the candidates need to see the number of vacant seats available for this round and the closure of the third round. The admission committee will allot the seats as per available vacancy, and a vacancy arises due to cascading effect of those particular seats.

The candidates will be called as per the merit rank and will be allotted admission on vacant seats as well as a vacancy arises due to the upgradation of seats during counselling. During this round of counselling, the candidate will be offered a seat as per the previous closure, vacancy and merit rank. Candidates not willing to take admission to the offered seat can refuse admission. In such a case, their previous admission will remain as it is. If the candidates want to cancel their admission to the previous round, they can cancel it at the time of their 4th stray vacancy round of counselling. Tuition fees will be refunded at the end of the whole admission process.

In any circumstances, no candidate seats will be cancelled after their 4th stray vacancy round counselling. An authority letter or proxy will not be allowed for taking admission in this round.

Eligible Candidates

The following candidates are eligible for this round:

  • The candidates who are included in the Merit List of ACPPGMEC, irrespective of:
    • Allotment/Non-allotment of admission in 1st / 2nd /3rd Round of ACPPGMEC
    • Payment/Non-payment of tuition fees in Axis Bank in 1st / 2nd /3rd Round of ACPPGMEC
    • Reporting/Non-reporting at Help-Center in 1st / 2nd /3rd Round
    • Reporting/Non-reporting at admitted Institute in 1st / 2nd / 3rd Round of ACPPGMEC
    • Cancelled/Non-cancelled admission of 1st /2nd /3rd of ACPPGMEC

Ineligible Candidates

Following Candidates are not eligible for this round:

  • The candidates, who have secured admission in 15% AIQ/ Deemed/Central Universities MD/MS (Ayurveda)/ MD (Homoeopathy) seats of other state counselling and enlisted in Ministry Of AYUSH, New Delhi published the List of In-eligible candidates for participation in MD/MS (Ayurveda)/MD (Homoeopathy).

Required Documents

The candidates, who have cancelled their admission of previous rounds or coming for fresh admission, are required to bring the following original documents at the time of counselling:

  • All BAMS/BHMS mark sheets
  • Internship completion certificate specifying the 12 months internship completion date, i.e., on or before 31.12.2022
  • Copy of AIA-PGET-2022 Marksheet
  • Provisional / Permanent Registration of Gujarat Board of Ayurvedic & Unani System of Medicine OR Central Council of Indian medicine (with renewal)
  • Document showing the place of birth & Date of Birth & Indian Citizenship (School leaving Certificate/ Transfer Certificate/ Passport/ Birth Certificate)
  • For SEBC, ST and SC Category: Cast certificate issued by Competent Authorities of Gujarat State only
  • For SEBC Category: Non-creamy layer certificate (Parishistha ‘4’ in Gujarati/English) issued by Competent Authorities of Gujarat State only dated on or after 01/04/2020
  • For EWS (Economically Weaker Sections) Category: EWS certificate issued by Competent Authorities of Gujarat State only
  • Copy of Passport - if Citizenship is Dual/ Foreign

The candidates, who have been admitted to the previous round of ACPPGMEC, have to bring the original admission order of ACPPGMEC and the receipt of paid tuition fees. Without original documents and prescribed fees, the candidates will not be granted admission under any circumstances.

The candidate has to pay tuition fees/difference in tuition fees of one term (six months) by cash / Demand Draft in favour of “ACPUGMEC” payable at Gandhinagar at a bank facility provided by the Admission Committee immediately. If the candidate has paid tuition fees for admission for previous rounds, fees will be adjusted according to it. Excess fees will be refunded at the end of the whole admission process.
