Chhattisgarh-The Director of Medical Education (DME), Chhattisgarh, is inviting online applications for fresh registration from all eligible candidates and online institution selection from previously registered eligible candidates for the phase 2 counselling. The admissions will be made into Government / Private Medical Colleges and Dental Colleges of Chhattisgarh State for admission to vacant seats after admission in the first phase allotment of the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Undergraduate (NEET UG) (MBBSand BDS) course. As per the official notice issued by theDME Chhattisgarhin this regard, all applicants should start applying online only after thoroughly studying the serial number, which is mentioned in the notice. Therefore, from today, i.e. 13th September 2025, the online application is made available on the official website of DME Chhattisgarh. Below is the detailed schedule- TIME TABLE FOR ONLINE APPLICATION AND INSTITUTION SELECTION PROCESS FOR SECOND PHASE COUNSELLING PROCESS DETAILS DESCRIPTION Starting and last date for online application. September 13, 2025, 11:00 AM to 17 September 2025, 11:59 PM Starting and last date for choice filling and locking. September 13, 2025, 11:00 AM to 18 September 2025, 11:59 PM Meanwhile, it is to be noted that the candidates admitted through the first stage allotment will have to log in on the portal and give their consent for upgrade and only after that, they will be included in the second stage counselling after selecting the institute. However, candidates who are ineligible for counselling will not be allowed to register for the subsequent stages of counselling. The previously registered eligible candidates must select the institute on the above-mentioned date, as the institute selected by the candidate earlier has automatically become void, i.e. the institute selection has become vacant, hence it is necessary to select the institute again to participate in the second phase of counselling. If the candidates do not select the institute, then they will not be allotted a seat in the second phase of counselling. Those previously registered candidates, who had earlier opted for only government medical colleges, if they want to opt for private medical colleges in the upcoming counselling, then they will have to pay an additional amount equal to the difference between the registration amount fixed for private medical colleges and the registration amount deposited earlier. Only after making the said additional payment will the candidates be able to opt for a private medical college. After seat allocation in the second phase and all subsequent counselling phases, if the candidate does not take admission or leaves the seat after taking admission, then in such a situation, the registration amount deposited by the candidate will be forfeited. Hence, candidates are advised to select only the college in which they wish to take admission while selecting the institute. The entire counselling process (payment of registration fee, selection of institute and subject, choice locking etc.) is done by the candidate himself/herself, hence in case of incomplete or wrong information being provided, if the registration or allotment of the candidate is cancelled, the entire responsibility will be of the candidate only and this office or the counselling committee will not be responsible in any manner.
