DME Assam Releases Provisional Selection List After Round 1 NEET PG Counselling

Assam: The Director of Medical Education (DME Assam) declared the provisional selection list for NEET PG-2022 counselling for state quota seats after round -1 of counselling.
A total of 580 candidates are there on the list. The provisional selection list is for admission into the 1st year Post Graduate courses in the Government Medical Colleges/ Institutes of Assam under 50% State quota seats.
The provisionally selected candidates will have to report for admission into the course in their respective Colleges/ Institutions during office hours on 11th October 2022/12th October 2022 with the terms & conditions mentioned below. And if they fail to do so, their allotment will be cancelled.
Detailed terms & conditions -
1. All admission shall be provisional and subject to fulfilling all the required eligibility criteria as per the "Medical Colleges of Assam (Regulation of Admission into Post Graduate Degree and Diploma Courses) Rules, 2021".
2. Candidates must bring all necessary original documents along with admission and counselling fees at the time of admission.
3. Candidates shall have to deposit the original documents as specified in the "Medical Colleges of Assam (Regulation of Admission into Post Graduate Degree and Diploma Courses) Rules, 2021".
4. After admission, all candidates, including State Health Services Quota, shall execute a duly registered agreement on a non-judicial stamp paper of the value of Rs.100 only as per the "Medical Colleges of Assam (Regulation of Admission into Post Graduate Degree and Diploma Courses) Rules, 2021" within 2 (two) weeks from the date of admission.
5. The candidates, who furnish false information/ declaration at the time of online selection or admission, their admission is liable to be cancelled at any time, and proceedings shall be drawn against such candidates under appropriate law, including professional conduct etiquette and ethics of the National Medical Commission's Regulation.
6. Candidates who have already been admitted under 50% All India Quota must produce a copy of resignation/ surrender acceptance letters from the respective Colleges/ Institutes for admission.

It promotes expertise in medical science in different streams like Allopathic, Ayurvedic and Homoeopathic medicine and paramedical science, and health care facilities to the people of Assam through different hospitals under the Directorate. It promotes research in the field of medical science in the state of Assam.
