Assam: Through a recent notice, the Directorate of Medical Education Assam (DME Assam) has informed about 2nd Online Mop Up Counseling selection of candidates for admission into 1st Year BDS course in the Government Dental Colleges of Assam, Session 2021.
This is for information of all concerned that the 2nd online Mop-up Counseling for filling up of vacant seats of BDS course in the Government Dental Colleges of Assam for the session 2021 under State quota seats is going to be held under this Directorate. Candidates who have qualified in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG 2021) conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) may participate in the online counselling provided they fulfil all the eligibility criteria mentioned in the Medical Colleges and Dental Colleges of Assam, (Regulation of Admission into 1st year MBBS/BDS courses) Rules, 2017 amended up to 2021 as well as meet the cut-off scores in NEET UG-2021.
Online Registration for the counselling will be available at the official website of this Directorate, www.dme.assam.gov.in from 04/05/2022 to 05/05/2022 midnight. The candidates who have already registered and participated in 1st, 2nd and Mop-up Round state counselling need not register again and shall be able to take part in the online choice filling of the Counseling for fresh allotment or change of College. After completion of Online Registration process, Online Filling of Choices will be available from 07/05/2022 to 08/06/2022, 5 PM. Facility for locking of choice will be available on 06/05/2022 from 10 am to 5 pm, after which the choices will be locked automatically if not locked earlier by the candidate. After processing the data, a college-wise list of selected candidates will be displayed along with modalities of admission on 11/05/2022.

There will be separate counselling for the vacant seats under TGL/Ex-TGL Category of BDS Courses which will be held offline, date and details of which will be notified later. There will be no online counselling for TGL/Ex-TGL category in 2nd online Mop-up round of counseling.
