Assam DME Notice for Foreign Medical Graduates

Through a recent notice, DME (Directorate of Medical Education Assam) has invited applications in plain paper from Foreign Medical Graduates who are permanent residents of Assam, who have passed their MBBS (Part-II) final examination or equivalent degree from abroad and are intending to undergo 1 (one) year Compulsory Rotating Internship Training from Government Medical Colleges of Assam.

Following information must be furnished along with the application:

• Name of the candidate (in block letters).
• Father's name
• Mother's name
• Date of Birth.
• Permanent address.
• Phone number.
• Qualification (MBBS or equivalent)
• Name of the MBBS or equivalent degree passing Foreign Institute.
• Name of the MBBS or equivalent degree passing Foreign University.
• Year of passing MBBS or equivalent Degree.
• Year of clearing Screening Test conducted by NBE for Foreign Medical Graduate.
• Marks obtained in Screening Test for FMG's.

Applicants must furnish all the above-mentioned information correctly; applications with incomplete information and received after the last date of submission will be rejected.

Application in a sealed envelope along with the above-mentioned information must be dropped in the drop-box available at the office of the Director of Medical Education, Assam, Sixmile, Khanapara, Guwahati-22 (2nd Floor) Room No. 5 on or before 8th September, 2022. Applications sent by post/email shall not be considered.
