Assam: The Director of Medical Education (DME Assam) has begun the online application process for FMGs & Non FMGs for undergoing one year of compulsory rural posting under Nation Health Mission, Assam.
The online application form for undergoing a one-year rural posting under National Health Mission, Assam, is available on the official website of this Directorate, www.dme.assam.gov.in. Candidates must submit the online application via the link available on the official website of this Directorate, with the required documents, on or before 20th May 2023. No application will be entertained after the last date of submission of the application form. Applications sent via Post/ E-mail to the office of the DME, Assam, or NMH, Assam, will not be accepted.

The following is the list of documents to be uploaded along with the application -
1. Photo
2. Permanent Residence Certificate of Assam
3. ADHAAR Card
4. MBBS Marksheet (1-10)
5. Internship Completion Certificate
6. AMC/MCI Registration Certificate
7. MBBS Pass Certificate
The candidates who are permanent residents of Assam, who have passed their MBBS degree from outside the state of Assam (FMG's & Non-FMG's), and who are otherwise eligible as per "The Medical Colleges of Assam (Regulation of Admission into Post Graduate Degree and Diploma courses) Rules, 2021 and are willing to undergo one-year rural posting under National Health Mission, Assam can only apply.
The Directorate of Medical Education, Assam, Training and Research, Assam was established in 1984 under the control of the Health & Family Welfare Department, Government of Assam. It promotes expertise in medical science in different streams like Allopathic, Ayurvedic, and Homoeopathic medicine and paramedical science, and health care facilities to the people of Assam through different hospitals under the Directorate. It promotes research in medical science in the state of Assam.
