DM, MCh, DNB SS Counselling 2020: MCC Clarifies On Reporting Module

New Delhi: Through a recent notice, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has clarified on the Reporting Module of Common Counselling of Super Speciality (DM/ MCh courses) / DNB SS Counselling 2020.
In its notice, the MCC has informed about the refund of the Security Deposit paid by the candidates at the time of Registration as well as the online Reporting of candidates.
It is for the information to all candidates participating in NEET Super Speciality Counselling 2020 that the in reference to the Reporting Module of Common Counselling of Super Speciality (D.M/ M.Ch courses) / DNB SS Counselling 2020, the following points may be noted:
 The Admission Fee may be taken from DNB students by the college as per their Fee structure. The Security Deposit paid by the candidates at the time of Registration will be refunded back to the candidates by MCC in the same account from which the amount had been remitted.
 Colleges can go for Online Reporting of candidates on case to case basis where the reason is found to be genuine by the college authorities after verification of required documents. However, the onus of seats remaining vacant/ seat blocking in case online reported candidates do not join physically will be on concerned college. Therefore, colleges are advised to ensure that only genuine candidates be allowed for online reporting after seeking prior permission from MCC.

Note: For ensuring faithful obedience of time schedule and also keeping in view the limited time available for conducting of counselling, All Participating Institutes/Colleges are directed to treat all Saturday, Sunday & Holidays as working days.
NEET-SS 2020 was conducted on 15th September 2020. NEET-SS is an eligibility-cum-ranking examination prescribed as the single entrance examination for admission to various DM/MCh courses as per the Indian Medical Council (Amendment) Act, 2016. No other entrance examination, either at the state or the Institution level, shall be valid for entry to DM/MCh courses as per the Indian Medical Council (Amendment) Act, 2016 w.e.f. 2017 admission session. Qualifying NEET-SS is mandatory for entry to DM/MCh courses under various Universities/ Institutions in the country.
