DCI Webinar Announcement

New Delhi: DCI recently announced that it will webcast its Continuing Dental Education Webinar-27 on the topic "Oral Habits in Children – Clinical Aspects and Management" with Dr. Nikhil Marwah, Professor & Head, Department of Pediatric Dentistry Mahatma Gandhi Dental College, Jaipur (Rajasthan). The information to this effect was circulated through a notification from the apex council.

The webinar is scheduled for Sunday, 11th April 2021 at 4 PM and will be moderated by Dr. I.K. Pandit, Principal, Prof. and Head, Department of Pediatric Dentistry D.A.V. Centenary Dental College, Yamuna Nagar (Haryana).

According to the notice dated 6-04-2021, all DCI Webinars including the one scheduled for Sunday, are free of cost for all attendees.

The notice states that an e-Certificate of attendance will be conferred to all attendees including:

• Undergraduate students
• International attendees
• Non-dentists

on their registered e-mail.

However, CDE points will be awarded only to the Dentists registered with State Dental Councils/Tribunals of India and the Certificates will be sent to the attendees by email within three days of each webinar who have attended the entire session, uninterrupted, adds the notice.

The attendees have been asked to check their Junk E-mail folder just in case the Certificate email got delivered there instead of their inbox. An E-Certificate may also be downloaded from the DCI Website.

DCI's all previous Webinars are also uploaded in the archive on the DCI Website.

Furthermore, the attendees are expected to exercise caution while furnishing complete and proper details at the time of registration since the same will be captured for generating e-Certificate / CDE points.

No request for any change/modification in the details shall be considered, adds the notification.
