DCI Issues Reminder For Self-Financing Dental Colleges On Submission Of Payment Info Of Teaching, Non Teaching Staff

New Delhi: Giving another window of opportunity to the Principal of all Self Financed Dental Colleges in the Country for furnishing of information/statement on payment of salary of Teaching, non-teaching, administrative staff, and other staff working in the self-financed dental colleges during the period w.e.f. 01.01.2020 to 31.12.2020, the dental council of India has extended the last date of submission of the said information by one week. The information to this effect was recently passed to the concerned colleges through a recent notification by the apex council.
It is to be noted that this is a third notice in a row on the said subject by the council. the first directive was passed through a notice issued on dated 04.01.2021 and a subsequent reminder was issued on dated 19.03.2021
had earlier reported that the executive committee of DCI has taken a strong note of non-compliance to its earlier directive by the said colleges. The committee meeting was held on 11.03.21. Then also the DCI had asked the colleges to furnish the details in a prescribed format along with the bank statements supporting the payment, within 10 days, from the date of issuance of the new notice.
Taking note of the fact that certain colleges have still not submitted the required information, the last date has been extended once again.
"I am directed to say that the statement of payment of salary in respect of all staff including teaching, non-teaching, administrative or any other staff working during the period w.e.f. 01.01.2020 to 31.12.2020 in your institution in the prescribed format, has still not been received by DCI," says the notice.
"In this connection, I am directed to give you one more opportunity to send the above mentioned details/information in the prescribed format which is attached herewith as Annexure-A, along with the bank statements supporting the payment, within a weak positively, from the date of receipt of this letter, failing which, necessary action will be taken against your institution dental colleges," adds the notice.
