DCI Issues Notice To 10 Dental Colleges Over Non-Payment Of Outstanding Dues

New Delhi: Dental Council of India (DCI) in the recent notification has shared that various private recognized dental institutes across India are not remitting their outstanding fees to the council despite several demand letters issued to them.
Now DCI has planned to recover the dues from the defaulting institutions. A total of 10 institutes across India have not cleared the dues. As per the detail released Rs 1000000 and above is pending in these institutes.
The list of colleges along with fees outstanding –
1. Dr B.R. Ambedkar Institute of Dental Sciences & Hospital, Patna - Rs 3400000
2. BRS Dental College & Hospital, Panchkula – Rs 2950000
3. Awadh Dental College & Hospital, Jharkhand – Rs 3200000
4. Bhabha College of Dental Sciencies, Bhopal – Rs 1350000
5. Modern Dental College & Research Centre, Indore – Rs 1150000
6. Aditya Dental College, Beed – Rs 1250000
7. Desh Bhagat Dental College & Hospital, Mandi Gobindgarh – Rs 2400000
8. Pacific Dental College & Research Centre, Udaipur – Rs 1700000
9. Chandra Dental College & Hospital, Barabanki – Rs 1350000
10. Institute of Dental Studies & Technology, Ghaziabad – Rs 1100000
The institutes have been asked to clear their dues within 10 days from the issuance of this notice failing which the DCI will be constrained to initiate appropriate proceeding in accordance with law for recovery of the outstanding amount.
The payments can be made by way of Demand Draft in favour of "Secretary Dental Council of India" or directly through NEFT/RTGS in the bank account of the Council. The institutes need to share the details once the payment is done through email.
