Dabur Joins Hands With NDMC To Fight Dengue

New Delhi : To battle the yearly menace of dengue, Dabur joined hands with the New Delhi Municipal Corporation (NDMC) to raise awareness among the general public, especially school children.

Dabur and NDMC organised a rally of school children from Navyug school in Delhi.

During the rally children raised awareness about the importance of keeping their surroundings clean to prevent mosquito breeding and protect themselves from dengue.

Speaking on the lethality of dengue, Dabur’s Ramarao Dhamija said, “Dengue has today emerged as the most hazardous disease prevalent during & post the rainy season. According to recent reports, the number of confirmed cases this year is more than twice the number of cases registered in 2015.”

He also pointed out the vulnerability of the children to the disease when “they venture out to play in gardens or even while in school”.

R.N Singh, Chief Medical Officer at NDMC, also spoke about the collaboration saying, “we, in collaboration with Dabur Odomos, have taken a pledge to completely eradicate dengue. In order to achieve this, we are organising rallies in various schools and educating children about the disease.”
