CENTAC Invites Applications For BAMS, BUMS, BHMS, BSMS Courses 2022

Puducherry: Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC) invited online applications from the candidates of UT of Puducherry for admission to Under Graduate BSMS, BAMS, BUMS & BHMS Medical degree courses for the academic year 2022-23.
The candidates can download the application form and prospectus from the website https://www.tnhealth.tn.gov.in. The candidates can apply on or before 21st October 2022, 5:00 pm.
Before registering online, candidates are advised to carefully read the prospectus and prepare the scanned images of their photograph, signature and other relevant certificates for a smooth experience.
The self-attested copy of the application should be submitted within the stipulated last date to the Secretary, Selection Committee, Directorate of Indian Medicine and Homoeopathy, Arignar Anna Government Hospital of Indian Medicine Campus, Arumbakkam, Chennai – 600 106. Another Self-attested copy of the application should be submitted to The Coordinator, CENTAC, PEC Campus, Pillaichavadi, Puducherry – 605 014 before 21st October 2022, 6 pm.
Educational Qualification -
1. The eligibility for admission to BSMS / BAMS / BUMS / BHMS Degree courses for this academic year shall be based solely on marks obtained in the National Eligibility – Cum- Entrance Test (NEET UG2022) conducted by NTA.
2. Candidates must have individually passed all the subjects of the qualifying examination of the Higher Secondary Certificate Examination (Academic) with the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Botany Zoology and English.
3. They have completed 17 years of age at the time of admission or will complete that age on or before 31 December.
NEET-UG counselling is conducted by the Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC). It is a common admission portal for all the colleges of Puducherry and is established by the Government of Puducherry. Under this, the candidates who have passed the qualifying examination and appeared in such a qualifying examination are eligible for admission. There are various courses under its umbrella.
Recently team reported that CENTAC had announced the seat matrix for PG Medical and PG Dental for the academic year 2022- 23. The seat matrix is for both government and private medical colleges. A total of 200 seats have been allocated. PG Medical has 161 seats, and PG Dental has 39 seats allotted.
