Puducherry: CENTAC Notice

The Centralized Admission Committee (CENTAC) extended the date of PG Medical, Dental mop-up registration and payment of tuition fees.

As per the notice, the last date for submitting willingness and payment of counselling fees (Rs. 1000) for PG Medical and PG Dental courses and payment of Tuition fees for PG Medical courses is extended up to 6.00 pm today (18th November 2022).

Candidates note that they need to transfer the registration fee and tuition fee to the CENTAC account through e-transfer/DD. The bank details are enclosed in the notice below. Proof of counselling fee and tuition fee payment need to be uploaded using the link given in the dashboard, failing which the candidate will not be considered for allotment.

Link for mop-up counselling will be sent to candidates before counselling. In case of difficulty in participating through web conferencing due to connectivity issues, the candidates will be allowed to call by phone and choose the seats. Phone numbers for counselling will be published on the website before starting counselling.

Candidates note that as per NMC guidelines Sliding will not be allowed (i.e., Candidates who joined up to the 2nd Round through AQI/State Counselling are not allowed to participate in Mop-up counselling as per the NMC Guidelines).

Documents to be shown at the time of counselling:

• Result/Rank letter issued by NBE/NTA
• Documents for reservation claimed
• Proof of counselling fee paid

The Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC) conducts NEET-PG and MDS counselling. It is a common admission portal for all the colleges of Puducherry and is established by the Government of Puducherry. Under this, the candidates who have passed the qualifying examination and appeared in such a qualifying examination are eligible for admission. There are various courses under its umbrella.

Recently, the team reported that CENTAC invited new applications for MBBS, BDS, and BAMS courses for the academic year 2022-23. New applications were invited for Government and Self Financing Medical / Dental and Veterinary colleges in the UT of Puducherry under Government / All India (Management) / Minority/ NRI and Self–Supporting (SS) Quota. The candidates could apply till 13th November 2022, 10:00 pm. Candidates should ensure they enter the All India Counseling Rank against the NEET rank while filling out the application. All Puducherry Residents should submit an Affidavit for residence while filling up the application.
