CEE Kerala Informs On Upper Age Limit For Service Candidates For PG Ayurveda Courses

Kerala: Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) has informed about the service candidates' upper age limit from the Ayurveda Medical Officer category for PG Ayurveda courses. The eligible list of medical officers and revised rank list of service quota were also released.
As per the notice in the Government Order read as 1st paper Government had approved the Prospectus for Post Graduate Courses in Arzveda for the year 2022-23. As per Clause 5(B) (2) of approved prospectus 11 2022-23, the service candidates' upper age limit from the Ayurveda Medical Officer category is fixed as 46. The upper age limit for the category for Ayurveda - Medical Officer is fixed as 46 is based on retirement age. But now the retirement age of Medical Officers who come under the National Pension Scheme is 60.
Considering this fact, the Government has examined the matter in detail. It is pleased to amend the approved prospectus by adding the following sentence in continuation to Clause 5(B)(2) of Post Graduate Prospectus 2022-23 issued as per Government Order "nut the upper age limit of the Medical Officer quota candidates coming under National Pension Scheme will be 50 reckoned as on Er07-2022." Government Order read as 1st paper stands modified to the above extent.

Eligibility for admission –
1. Only Indian citizens of Kerala origin are eligible to apply.
2. For admission under All India Quota seats in Self Financing Colleges Non-Keralites are eligible to apply.
3. All candidates, including Service quota candidates seeking PG (Ay) courses in the State of Kerala for the academic year 2022-23 shall have to qualify for the National Eligibility —Cum Entrance Test for PG (Ay) Courses (AYUSH PGET) conducted by AIIA, New Delhi and should figure in the rank list prepared by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations.
4. Applicants should have passed the BAM/Ayurvedaeharya/BAMS from the colleges having CCIM recognition and BAMS Degree of Universities of Kerala or its equivalent degree recognized by the University of Kerala with 50% of marks for theory and practical separately in each subject.
