A video going viral on social media has shocked the public after two young men were brutally beaten by nurses in a locked room with sticks for allegedly recording the poor condition of the Chapra district hospital in Saran district in Bihar.

The video shows a nurse beating the young men one by one repeatedly with a stick over recording the hospital condition. Clearly, it can be seen that the men were in pain and pleading, but the nurse kept beating them. Witnessing the act in silence, another nurse stood there supporting the violence.

The incident took place when the two young men visited the hospital to collect medical certificates but instead started filming the poor condition of the hospital. After the duo was caught by the hospital staff, they were brought to the nurses. As soon as the nurses heard about the incident, they locked them inside a room and started beating them mercilessly.

While beating the duo, a young was heard telling them to record their mother and sister instead of the hospital. The hospital staff also pressured one of them to delete the video. Following the superintendent's instructions, the duo was later released. The incident took place on Sunday, NDTV reports.

"The nurse with the hunter uses sticks, not needles. The video is being told of Chapra, both the boys were making a video of the mismanagement spread in the hospital when these two nurses got caught," tweeted a user.

Social media users went wild and criticized the management for using violence against the two young men. Whereas some also supported the action of the nurses.

Creating controversy, the hospital received heavy backlash from social media users. Sharing the incident, they also tagged the Bihar health department on social media.

Expressing disappointment, the netizens demanded action against the hospital staff by tagging Bihar police on social media. While some expressed anger, others were shocked to witness medical personnel use violence against those young men. Till now no action has been taken against the hospital staff.
