BSc Nursing 2021: DME Assam Releases Counselling Schedule For Admissions Into Vacant EWS Seats, Details

                                    Assam: The Director of Medical Education (DME) has issued notice on offline counselling to select candidates for admission into vacant EWS seats of 1st year B.Sc. nursing course in the 3 government nursing colleges.
Candidate's under the EWS category up to Rank- 302 who appeared in the Common Entrance Examination 2021 (CEE-2021) conducted by the Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences, Guwahati, for admission into 1st year B.Sc. Nursing Course in the 3(three) Government Nursing Colleges of Assam for the session 2021 and who have full filled all the eligibility criteria for admission into B. Sc Nursing course can apply for this counselling schedule. The counselling will be held on 11th May 2022 at the office of the DME, Assam, from noon onwards for the vacant seats at B. Sc. Nursing College, Silchar.
The candidates will have to produce the appropriate certificates/testimonials etc., in original issued by the competent authority before the selection board during counselling.
Those satisfied with their allotted 'institution during the 1st counselling need not appear in the said counselling, and their seat in the allotted institution shall remain unchanged. The candidates not yet admitted must bring all original testimonials, i.e. Admit Card of UE-2021, Marks sheets of 10+2 Exam, Admit Card of HSLC examination, Pass Certificates, PRC, EWS certificates and other relevant documents at the time of counselling.

The Director of Medical Education, Government of Assam, is responsible for B.Sc Nursing admission. Candidates must have passed the Class 12th exam from any recognized board. Candidates who graduated in Diploma in Nursing can also apply for B.Sc Nursing admission. And those who hold a General Nursing and Midwifery certificate from an approved nursing college can also apply for B.Sc Nursing admission.
