Punjab: BFUHS Admission Notice for MBBS/BDS Courses

Through a recent notice, BFUHS (Baba Farid University of Health Sciences) has released the schedule and details for admission into vacant seats of MBBS/BDS course under NEET UG-2022 through Mop Up Round and Stray Vacancy Round.

Fresh online applications along with registration fee of Rs. 5900/- (Rs. 2950/- for SC candidates) including GST are invited through the university website from NEET UG-2022 Qualified Candidates w.e.f. 03.12.2022 to 09.12.2022 for admission to vacant seats of MBBS/BDS courses. Stray vacancy round will be conducted online on 19.12.2022.

Schedule of Mop Up Round

• Display of tentative vacancy position of seats for Mop Up Round Counseling of NEET UG-2022: 03.12.2022
• Online portal for submission of fresh applications will open on University website: 03.12.2022 to 09.12.2022
• Last date for depositing registration fee: 09.12.2022
• Last date for submitting physical application form for NRI quota: 09.12.2022
• Last date for correction of data filled in online application form: 09.12.2022
• Submission of Sports Category documents: 10.12.2022
• Submission of willingness along with deposition of security amount for Mop Up Round: 03.12.2022 to 09.12.2022
• Verification for eligibility of Minority Quota: 05.12.2022 to 10.12.2022
• Display of Provisional Merit list: 11.12.2022
• Objections regarding Provisional Merit: 12.12.2022 (upto 02:00 PM)
• Display of Final Provisional Merit List: 12.12.2022 (05:00 PM)
• Date of filling choices/preferences for Mop Up Round: 05.12.2022 to 10.12.2022
• Processing of seat allotment: Upto 13.12.2022
• Display of Provisional Result: Upto 14.12.2022
• Objections regarding Provisional Result: 15.12.2022 (upto 02:00 PM)
• Declaration of Final Provisional Result: 16.12.2022 (05:00 PM)
• Date of reporting/joining in the provisionally allotted college: 17.12.2022

Note: All colleges will remain open on all Gazetted Holidays/Saturday/Sunday.

Eligibility for Mop Up Round of Counseling

• The candidates who need to apply afresh for Mop Up Round of counseling:
  • The candidates who are registering for the first time.
  • The candidates who have resigned/surrendered the allotted seat of 1st online Counseling with free exit upto 15.11.2022 and do not hold any seat of Round I and Round-II.
  • The candidates who have not joined the allotted seat (fresh/upgraded) of Round-II counseling can apply afresh for Mop Up Round.
• The candidates who need not to apply afresh for Mop Up Round of counseling:
  • The candidates who are already registered but have not been allotted any seat in Round I and II need not to register again. However, they will have to submit Willingness along with requisite amount (equivalent to penalty) and will have to submit Choices/preferences of Course/College/Quota as per schedule.
• The candidates who are not eligible for Mop Up Round of counseling:
  • The candidates who are holding/joined the allotted seat of Round I and Round II.

Fee to be Deposited by the Candidates Applying Afresh for Mop Up Round

• For registration, the candidate has to apply online application form and needs to deposit fee @Rs. 5900/- (2950/- for SC) including GST @18% through online payment gateway of University.
• For willingness, the following security amount is to be deposited through online payment gateway of University:
  • Rs. 10000/- for Govt. Colleges
  • Rs. 100000/- for Govt. & Private Colleges
• If any candidate wants to change his/her willingness from Govt. Colleges only to Private & Govt. Colleges:
  • The candidate has to deposit the remaining security amount i.e. Rs 90000/- through online payment gateway of University.

Online Stray Vacancy Round

The allotment for vacant seats (after Mop Up Round) in Stray Vacancy Round will be made on the basis of choices/preferences filled by the candidates in Mop Up Round. The result of stray Vacancy will be declared on 19.12.2022 and candidates will report the respective allotted college upto 20.12.2022 for Medical Checkup and joining.

• Who are Eligible for Stray Vacancy Round
  • All Registered Candidates except the following categories are eligible for Stray Vacancy Round:
    • Candidates who joined the allotted seat in Round II of AIQ/ State Quota.
    • Candidates allotted a seat in Mop Up Round of MCC / State.
    • Candidates allotted a seat in Mop Up Round of MCC/State and NOT REPORTED
    • Candidates joined a seat in Mop Up Round of MCC/State.
    • Candidates who have not registered in any of Previous 3 Rounds.
    • Candidate joined/holding a seat in State Quota.

Note: All candidates are informed that there will be no fresh registration/choice filling of stray vacancy round. The choices filled by the candidate in the Mop-Up round will be processed in the Stray Vacancy round. It is pertinent to mention that the candidates willing to participate in stray vacancy round have to submit the willingness and Choices/preferences in Mop Up round.
