AP Gazette Notifies On Fixation Of Fee Structure For BSc Nursing Courses At Private Un-Aided Professional Higher Educational Institutions

Andhra Pradesh: Andhra Pradesh Gazette (AP Gazette) has notified about the fixation of fee structure for BSc Nursing courses in private un-aided professional higher educational institutions in the state for the academic year 2022-23.

The fee is an all-inclusive annual fee, including tuition fee, affiliation fee, cost of ID card, medical fee, inter-college/inter-university sports, games and cultural meet fee, computer/internet fee, college magazine and student activities, student healthcare scheme, student welfare fee, study tour, alumni fund, sports and games fee, exam fee including stationery, maintenance, and amenities fee, extracurricular activities fee, development fee, recognition fee, common service fee, development fee, and other recurring expenditure.
For the converter quota, the fee doesn't include the hostel, transport, mess charges, registration fee, admission fee, and refundable deposits of library and laboratory fees. The institution can collect a higher fee for the management quota. The amount collected should be utilized to develop the college, infrastructure, and instructional facilities.
The minimum fee mentioned above is applicable during the block period 2021- 22 to 2022-23. The same fee will continue for the students admitted during the bock period of 2021-2022 to 2022-2023 till they complete the course.
As per the notice, the institution shall not charge directly or indirectly any other amount over and above the fee fixed for the above courses. If any other amount is charged under any other head or guise, i.e., donations, the same will amount to charging a caption fee. In that case, the institution shall be liable to be prosecuted under section 9 of act 5 of 1983 apart from imposing appropriate penalties under the APHERMC Act,2019, and the APHERMC Rules, 2019.
In case of any deviation from these directions, the commissioner will initiate severe penal action as per the provisions of the act and rules made there. The register of Dr YSR University of Health Sciences/Director of Medical Education will take necessary action accordingly. These orders are subjected to directions/outcome of the court, pending if any, and as per guidelines/directions issued by the government from time to time.
