AIIMS INI SS July 2024 - Check Out Scheme Of Examination

New Delhi- Through a recent notice, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has invited online applications for the Institute of National Importance Super-Specialty Entrance Test (INI-SS) for admission to DM, MCh and MD (Hospital Administration) courses at AIIMS, PGIMER, NIMHANS, SCTIMST and JIPMER for July 2024 session. Along with this notice, AIIMS has also released an information brochure giving details of the scheme of the examination.
The registration process has already begun and the last date for online registration of applications on the AIIMS website is Wednesday, 10th April 2024 till 5:00 PM. The course will begin from 01 July 2024.
INI-SS for July 2024 session is planned to be held in 16 cities in India such as Ahmedabad, Puducherry, Bhopal, Bhopal.

ONLINE REGISTRATION FOR APPLICATION
Status of Application & Rejected application with reason for rejection. Applicants are required to check their status through the Registration Status of My Page after Login.

Syllabus
The question paper will consist of questions from the General/Basic component of the qualifying educational qualification and from the subspecialty/systems/component of the speciality/course for which the examination is being conducted.
Qualifying Criteria in Stage I
50 per cent (%)
STAGE-II- Applicable to all AIIMS/PGIMER, Chandigarh only
a) Candidate must secure 50 per cent (%) or more marks in Stage I.
b) Candidate must have applied in online registration for AIIMS/PGIMER Chandigarh seats in respective speciality/course.
c) Candidate must be eligible as per eligibility criteria of AIIMS/PGIMER Chandigarh.
d) Out of the candidates who fulfil the above criteria, candidates- 3(three) times the number of seats for AIIMS/PGIMER Chandigarh Combined OR 2(two) times the total number of seats in AIIMS/PGIMER Chandigarh & other INIs whichever is higher or as decided by the competent authority at the time of declaration of result will be called for departmental clinical/practical/lab based assessment (carrying 20 marks) related to subspecialty/systems/component of the speciality/course for which the candidate has applied in the respective department at AIIMS, New Delhi.
e) To qualify for AIIMS/PGIMER Chandigarh Seat allocation a candidate must obtain 50 per cent (%) or more marks in Stage-I & Stage-II combined.
f) In case a candidate gets marks more than 50 per cent (%) in Stage I but less than 50 per cent (%) marks in Stage I & II combined, he/she will not be treated as qualified for AIIMS/PGIMER Chandigarh Seats.
g) Candidates called for departmental assessment (Stage – II) and remain absent in Stage – II, he/she will not be treated as qualified for AIIMS/PGIMER Chandigarh Seats.

PREPARATION OF MERIT LIST
Two lists of qualified candidates in order of merit will be declared based on performance in Stage– I & Stage – II examinations (as applicable) as described below-
1 COMMON MERIT LIST (CML)
a) Candidate must have appeared in the test for Stage – I.
b) All qualified candidates in the Stage- I examination as per the scheme of examination will be assigned a rank and will be placed in the list in order of overall rank.
c) This merit list (CML) will be used for the allocation of seats in all INI except AIIMS & PGIMER as per the method of allocation described in the prospectus.
2 AIIMS MERIT LIST (AML)
a) This Merit List (AML) will be used for the allocation of Seats in all AIIMS and PGIMER Chandigarh only
b) Candidate must have appeared & qualified in both examinations Stage – I & Stage – II as per the scheme of examination described above.
c) The list will be based on marks obtained in Stage- I & Stage – II combined (100 marks) for qualified candidates only.
d) All qualified candidates will be assigned a rank and will be placed in the list in order of overall rank.
/FOREIGN NATIONAL CATEGORY CANDIDATES
They will be placed in the respective merit list as per their performance and eligibility, as applicable to all other general candidates as described above with respective category tags mentioned against their rank. Such candidates will be considered for Seats under the /Foreign National category in order of merit. The seat under /Foreign National is strictly non-convertible/Interchangeable from the seat under General Category or vice-versa.

OVERSEAS CITIZEN OF INDIA (OCI)
The OCI candidates shall be considered as Indian nationals. Overseas Citizen of India candidates will be eligible ONLY for open category (Unreserved) seats for Indian Nationals, not for any Foreign National Seats. The OCI candidates shall be considered for seat allocation under the Unreserved and Unreserved-PWBD categories, as applicable, at the time of seat allocation. OCI candidates are not required to obtain NOC, however, must upload the scanned copy of the OCI card on or before the last date.
METHOD OF RESOLVING TIES
According to age (Date of birth), the older candidate shall get preference over the younger one.
