New Delhi: Through a recent notice, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has informed about the Addition of DM and MCh Seats for the Institute of National Importance Super-Specialty Entrance Test (INI-SS) admission this year.
The registration process has already begun and the last date for online registration of applications on the AIIMS website is Wednesday, 14th October 2024 till 5:00 PM.
As per the recent notice, 6 DM and MCh seats have been added to AIIMS Bhubaneswar in 3 specialities, all in the General category.

The entrance test for admission into DM/M.Ch./MD Hospital Administration Courses at Institutes of National Importance (INI) for Medical Education namely, AIIMS-New Delhi and all new AIIMS, JIPMER-Puducherry, PGIMER-Chandigarh, NIMHANS-Bengaluru and Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences & Technology- Thiruvananthapuram is held twice in a year for January and July session of respective year. The common entrance test is known as Institute of National Importance Super-Specialty Entrance Test (INI-SS).
In the field of postgraduate and post-doctoral education, the most important function of an Institute of National Importance is to provide opportunities to train teachers for medical colleges in the country in an atmosphere of research and development. Postgraduate and Post-Doctoral students are exposed to newer methods of teaching and given opportunities to actively participate in teaching exercises. The other important objectives of the Institute of National Importance are to bring together in one place, the educational facilities of the highest order for the training of personnel in all the important branches of health activity and to attain self-sufficiency in postgraduate medical education. The educational principles and practices being adopted are best suited to the needs of the nation.
