Delhi: AACCC PG Counseling Stray Vacancy Round

The Ayush Admissions Central Counseling Committee (AACCC) has released the schedule for the stray vacancy round for PG counseling. The seat matrix has also been released.

Detailed Schedule

  • Publication of Vacant seats: After 04:00 PM on 13th March 2023
  • Choice Filling/Locking (Submission of willingness on the AACCC website): 14th March to 15th March, 2023
  • Choice Locking from 3:00 PM to 11:55 PM on 15th March 2023 as per Server Time
  • Processing of Seat Allotment: 16th March to 17th March, 2023
  • Publication of Result: 18th March 2023
  • Reporting at the allotted institute: 18th March 2023 to 23rd March 2023

The candidates note that, no new registration and no upgradation during the stray vacancy round.

Eligibility Criteria

For candidates participating in the stray vacancy round for AIQ seats under Govt./ Govt. Aided/ Central Universities/ National Institutes:

  • Registered candidates who have not been admitted to any seats through R-1, R-2 & R-3 /Mop-up Round of AACCC-PG counseling or State/ UTs counseling.
  • Candidates must submit a willingness in the AACCC-PG portal to participate in the stray vacancy round with an undertaking that they are not holding any PG (ASU&H) seats allotted through AACCC-PG counseling or State/ UTs counseling.
  • Those candidates whose names are in the list of ineligible candidates published by AACCC, M/o Ayush vide notice dated 02.03.2023, are not eligible to participate in the stray vacancy round.

Admission Rules

If candidates get allotted a seat in the stray vacancy round, they must join the allotted institute. If candidates do not join the assigned seats, their security money will be forfeited, and they will become ineligible for further AYUSH-PG counseling. (Central/State/UT). There is no free exit during the stray vacancy round.

Stray Vacancy Round for AIQ Seats under Deemed Universities

As per the updated AACCC-PG counseling scheme, the vacant seats after the 3rd /mop-up round of AACCC-PG counseling will be reverted to the respective deemed universities to conduct stray vacancy rounds at the institute level. Therefore, candidates who registered in the AACCC-PG counseling and wished to be admitted to the seats under deemed universities are advised to contact the respective deemed universities to participate in the stray vacancy round conducted by the institute at their level. The schedule for the same has already been uploaded on the AACCC-PG portal.

AACCC has advised the candidates to ensure that the allotted college online mode makes the admission process only by generating the “Provisional Admission Letter” from the AACCC PG portal. Any admission made through offline mode will be treated as null & void.

All participating institutes are instructed to facilitate the admission/reporting of students even on holidays, if necessary.
