2 Medical Colleges Added To Round 2 NEET Counselling Seat Matrix: MCC Issues Notice For MBBS Candidates

                                    New Delhi: Through a recent notice, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has informed that the two medical colleges which had been removed from the Round 1 NEET Counselling session's seat matrix, have now been added to the Round 2 session.
The two medical colleges are from Nagpur (Maharashtra) and Jamshedpur (Jharkhand). With these medical institutes now been added to the Round 2 NEET Counselling session seat matrix, the MBBS candidates can now exercise their choice with the MCC accordingly.
Urgent Attention Candidates :
The following two colleges (Deemed to be Universities) which were removed from the Seat Matrix before Seat Processing of Round-1 of UG Counselling 2020 as per the information received from Secretary, NMC/ MCI are being included in Round-2 of counselling. The candidates can exercise choices for these two colleges in Round-2.
The names of the colleges are as under:
1. Datta Meghe Medical College, Wanadongri, Nagpur (College Code- 525) In pursuance to Gazette Notification issued by UGC.
2. Manipal- Tata Medical College, Jamshedpur, Jharkhand (College Code-528) In pursuance to order dated 20.11.2020 passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in "Manipal Tata Medical College and Another Vs. Union of India and Others" being SLP(C) No.13609/2020.
